Dear Friends of the Jaffa Institute,

Since the outbreak of Operation “Iron Swords”, we at the Jaffa Institute have been working around the clock to offer assistance to all those in need of our services.

Our Helplines are currently overwhelmed with numerous calls from people in our service areas, experiencing various physical needs and suffering anxiety and fear as a result of the difficult and unprecedented security events in Israel.  

No Israeli ever imagined a holiday as tragic as the one we just "celebrated." 

In this instance, ignorance is not bliss. We fear for all the soldiers who have been called up at this time of deepest distress. There is barely a family in Israel who does not have children, grandchildren, nephews or nieces who are endangering their lives to protect our safety as I write these very words. The feeling here is that the ground has been torn away from under the nation’s feet since this extraordinarily cruel and brutal attack on Israel’s civilian population.
