Greetings on International Women's Day 2023!

This year we mark International Women's Day in Israel in the shadow of worrying internal political turmoil with far-reaching repercussions for the women of our country.

During this challenging moment in our nation's history, we are enormously grateful to all our friends in Israel and abroad and, in particular, to six individuals whose longtime friendship with Woman to Woman has - and continues to be - a ray of light in our joint path to make a difference in the lives of women and children in Israel who have suffered violence in their homes.

As Woman to Woman concludes its 40th anniversary we wish to highlight the involvement of these six women of valor, whom it is a privilege to honor.
With wholehearted admiration and appreciation,
the board, volunteers and staff of Woman to Woman

Dame Vivien Duffield, The Clore Israel Foundation:
"Dame Vivien Duffield and the Clore Israel Foundation are proud to be a partner of the Woman to Woman organisation, supporting its efforts to assist women and children to break out of the cycle of violence and to realise their full potential in Israeli society."

Nancy Hart, The Jennifer Lalin Memorial Foundation:

"My sister Jennifer's legacy lives on through the lives we have impacted at the Jerusalem Shelter for Battered Women. My family's connection with Woman to Woman spans decades. It has been our pleasure to support the program over so many years and we are delighted to be honored in the framework of Woman to Woman's 40th anniversary.  We wish each of the women and children much success on their personal journeys."

Lynn Schusterman, Founder and Chair Emerita, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies:

“Investing in women and children has always been a core part of our philanthropy. We envision a world in which all women and children are able to live in safety, with freedom and dignity, able to pursue their dreams. Despite the progress we have made, we have a long way to go until we collectively achieve this vision.”

Ora Stibbe:
"We are thrilled to be taking part in Woman to Woman's important work for close to a decade now.
Together, we will continue to provide assistance to the women and their children and strive for a tolerant and accepting society."

Lady Nancy Wald:
"The Shelter, expertly managed, provides a haven for those in need and able to reach its door. I am honoured to be involved with the Shelter and supportive of it and all its programs.”

Arlene Kogod:
We are deeply moved to acknowledge the extraordinary support of Arlene Kogod, a special friend, who over the years has encouraged our residents in ways too many to enumerate.
A heartfelt thank you, on behalf of all of us at Woman to Woman.

Woman to Woman's annual event, marking 40 years of activity, took place on November 2nd, 2022 in Jerusalem and provided the opportunity to thank our six special benefactors from the stage.
