As the new year begins,we are taking this time to remember some of the fantastic projects that we were able to accomplish with your generous help!
Strengthening families: 6,000 volunteers helped run 40 programs offering assistance to 8,906 impoverished residents. We offered treatment and support for 540 families at our Parents’ and Children’s Center. We helped mothers break the cycle of poverty with training programs to help them join the workforce. |

Keeping kids safe and stimulated - Jaffa Daled Renovation:
We built, refurnished, and upgraded afterschool facilities, including playgrounds and play areas for children ages 3 -18, and entirely new floor at our Jaffa Daled afterschool center serving children who are mainly from Ethiopian-Israeli families, to provide kids with healthy outlets while their parents are at work. An array of four mobile science labs teach and inspire children in our target neighborhoods and now also in the Negev.

Autotech Vocational Training:
The excitement surrounding new automotive systems, like self-driving modes and automated warning programs, naturally attracts today’s youth. To capitalize on this excitement, our Bet Shemesh Educational Center has installed automotive workstations to provide an experiential learning environment to master the development, design, maintenance and repair of gas, hybrid and all-electric vehicles.

Urgent help for Ukrainian refugees and others in need:
We distributed 15,500 food parcels to the needy (including kids at risk; needy families from Ukraine and Holocaust survivors).
We also handed out school bags, bikes, coats, shoes, space heaters, and blankets for children, youth, senior citizens, and Holocaust survivors (including isolated seniors) and provided food vouchers for hundreds of refugees and immigrants from Ukraine. |
